I bought this fitted sheet, and later the flat sheet, because I have very sensitive nerves (think fibromyalgia and restless leg syndrome) and certain fabrics can cause a flair up or more of an annoyance. These silk sheets don't solve this problem completely, nor would I expect it to, but it does help significantly and I get a better night's sleep.
